Large Machines, Small openings

Progressive Millwrights Inc completed a relocation of a large Eterna Flatbed Die Cutter, utilizing specialized heavy-lift equipment and precision rigging. Our team dismantled the machine and prepared it for safe transport before dollies and skates were used to carefully move it out of the facility. To handle the size and weight, we deployed an Orion 140,000-lb lift truck with boom in combination with a 15K forklift. Once outside, the machine was dual-picked using both the 160-ton crane and the 140K lift truck with boom, allowing for a controlled transfer onto a multi-axle lowboy trailer. At the destination, the same coordinated lifting sequence was repeated in reverse to offload and accurately place the equipment.
