Our Story

Progressive Millwrights began in 1994 as a small operation based in Georgetown, Ontario, serving the corrugated box industry. Originally operating as Progressive Industrial Millwrights, the company built its reputation by providing dependable millwright services, quality workmanship, and responsive support to manufacturers throughout the region.
As the business grew, so did its capabilities and reach. Expanding beyond the corrugated sector, Progressive began supporting a broader range of industries with machinery installations, maintenance, shutdown support, repairs, fabrication, rigging, and equipment relocations. To better serve clients across the Greater Toronto Area and throughout Ontario, the company relocated its headquarters to Mississauga, positioning itself closer to the region's industrial and manufacturing hubs.
Through every stage of growth, our focus remained the same: delivering safe, reliable, and high-quality industrial solutions while helping our clients minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
In 2021, the company entered a new chapter under new ownership. As part of this transition, the business was rebranded from Progressive Industrial Millwrights to Progressive Millwrights, reflecting both its expanded service offerings and its continued commitment to serving a wider range of industries.
Today, Progressive Millwrights is proud to be part of the CTS Group of Companies. Backed by expanded resources, expertise, and strategic support, we are able to take on larger and more complex projects while maintaining the hands-on service, responsiveness, and client-focused approach that have defined our company for more than 30 years.
From our roots in Georgetown to our headquarters in Mississauga, Progressive Millwrights continues to provide the skilled tradespeople, equipment, and industrial expertise needed to support manufacturers and businesses across Ontario.
