Eterna Flatbed Die Cutter Relocation

Progressive Millwrights completed the dismantling and relocation of a large Eterna Flatbed Die Cutter, coordinating the equipment, rigging and lifting operations required to move the machine from its existing facility to its new location.
Our team first dismantled and prepared the equipment for transport. Dollies and machinery skates were used to carefully maneuver the machine out of the facility, with an Orion 140,000-lb lift truck with boom and a 15K forklift supporting the move through the restricted site conditions.
Once outside, the equipment was dual-picked using a 160-ton crane and the 140K lift truck with boom before being transferred onto a multi-axle lowboy trailer for transportation. At the destination, the coordinated lifting sequence was completed in reverse to safely offload, move and position the equipment in its new location.
